I've been on the road all week moving my son from Tucson to Virginia. We made it yesterday. All I have is what I shot in the Arizona desert---so here are my A pics.
I am really pleased with my new 11-16 tokina wide angle lens. WOW!! My first landscapes and I love the results so far. Although some of the views were taken with my 100-400 canon lens at 100mm with good results like #2.

ReplyDeleteI have to say I like them all, but #3 and #5 are favs. Such open space, not what we're used to. Love how the clouds cast the shadows on the mountains. Glad you made your trip safe and sound!

ReplyDeleteThe sunburst in #8 is mighty pretty and adds to the picture I think.
My faves are #1, 6 & 9. Just my preference. I will also say, however, every single picture is a keeper!! I love your composition in #2 and 5!!
These are all gorgeous shots!!! Looks like A is definitely for Arizona!!!!
Wow, Burr- great color, contrast, and textures made for great composition. The cacti are gorgeous and make me think it has rained some out there?! Super job on your photos and how wonderful to help your son move to such a beautiful place- guess we'll see more shots of Arizona in the future (hope so!)
ReplyDeleteWOW, each and everyone of those shots could be in a travel brochure Burr, you have absolutely an amazing eye for color and picking the perfect settings.....those are all great shots.....they all look professional
