Action Photos

Hi everyone,

     This was fun and makes you think about shutter speed and aperture. I did some moving cars with blurred background at the Gratiot cruise and a couple stop action of moving objects.
   The moving cars was hard to do without the tripod.  I took a lot of pictures to get these few sharp shots. Most were done at 1/30sec.  At 1/30 it's hard to do a still subject handheld. I basically tried to get the background and wheels blurred with the subject sharp

Hey guys,
I've been on the road all week moving my son from Tucson to Virginia.  We made it yesterday.  All I have is what I shot in the Arizona desert---so here are my A pics.
I am really pleased with my new 11-16 tokina wide angle lens.  WOW!!  My first landscapes and I love the results so far. Although some of the views were taken with my 100-400 canon lens at 100mm with good results like #2.
